【课程内容】
本课程通过对外科手术进行探讨和实践，将解剖学带入现实生活。课程讲座将讲解心脏和循环等结构系统的运作，案例研究则用作概述该系统的急诊室和外科手术。在实验室中，学生将学习如何在皮肤模型上缝合手术结以及切口，并模拟真实手术。
往届的学生使用了模型急诊室进行手术模拟，该实验室配备了用于监测血压、心跳和呼吸的仪器，以及逼真的灯光和手术台。同时，参观了哈佛医学博物馆著名的长木医学区、布里格姆妇产医院、波士顿儿童医院和达纳法伯癌症研究所。
今年的实地考察计划之一带学生进入东北大学的模拟实验室，练习手术技巧和急诊室协定。
